Hundon sign is mounted on the memorial “ In memory of the many service men and women who died in our parish 1938 – 1970.” “Remembering also that a major part of Royal Air Force Station Stradishall lay within the Hundon parish boundary.” The sign itself is surmounted by a small cross and depicts the Royal Air Force roundel immediately below. The church of All Saints is represented above the name which is flanked by ears of wheat depicting the farming community. The signpost and horses and riders are a reference to Steeplechase a hamlet within the parish. Awaiting more info
