Motor barge Parglena is leaving Berkhamsted middle lock. This is a 5/7ths replica of one of the Duker barges, that were built in the early 1950s. Even so, its size compared with a typical modern cruising narrowboat can be seen. There are interesting stories here http://www.cutweb.org.uk/members/parglena.html and here http://lock13.co.uk/boats/parglena.htm
