The village institute
The village hall at Knayton stands on a triangular green. Built in 1922, it was enlarged and updated in 2005. The other side of the hall would be in the next square.

Road past the village green, Knayton
The road is one of the three which form the triangle within which is the village green. The building ahead is the community centre and the village pub is behind that.

Knayton village centre; it is all here if you care to look
Pub to the right, village hall on the grassed area in the centre with telephone kiosk, letter box and defibrillator. There isn't a church. Pevsner covers the village in one line: "A sandstone village - so near the brick belt. Chiefly one street."

Village scene, Knayton
Taken at the junction of Main Street and Swan Lane. Knayton's main street is now a quiet backwater as both it and Swan Lane are cul de sacs.
