Reflected in the River Seven
The building itself was obscured by trees but the reflection was caught in the river. Houses along the bank have flood defences at the front door. Most of the houses in the village are built from stone - unusually, this one is brick-built.

View from a riverside seat near Sinnington Bridge
The view is across the River Seven, which is looking very shallow after a dry Spring. The Seven rises on Danby High Moor, in the middle of the North York Moors. It flows into the River Rye, at Brawby, passing through the settlements of Thorgill, Rosedale Abbey, Cropton, Appleton-le-Moors, Sinnington, Marton, Normanby, Great Barugh, and Brawby.
