Old milepost
Set on the verge of Long Street between Chapel Street and Little Lane it is always difficult to take a photo of this post without a parked car in the background. These posts made by Norby of Thirsk are all a basic form but with the appropriate plates added to the bevel and sides depending on their distance from York. This could easily have been Easingwold 0 but a 'rose' was added instead.
