Cast iron post by the UC road (was A19), in parish of EASINGWOLD (HAMBLETON District), Long Street, Easingwold; opposite PH, by No.104, by the road, on North side of road. York iron casting, erected by the Thirsk turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : YORK / 13 : : LONDON / 209 : : EASINGWOLD / {raised design} : Grade II listed.
