Howsham Hall and Stableblock
The hall is currently undergoing restoration. On the right, the red brick building is the stableblock, built in 1775 by Carr. The Derwent runs behind.

Howsham Hall
Until recently the Hall was used as a private School.
During World War 2 the Stained Glass from York Minster was stored here to prevent any damage from Air Raids.

St John's Church Howsham
Built in 1859/60 from designs by G E Street for Hannah Cholmley, the building is surprisingly grade 1 listed, but it's not my idea of attractive Victorian church architecture.
