The former brewery, Langthorpe
The former Warwick's Anchor Brewery at Langthorpe. There have been changes to the structure of the buildings since my 2007 photo, with the removal of some items to allow a view over the river.

Warwick's Anchor Brewery.
This traditional brewery complex has managed to preserve its identity to a substantial degree, although brewing ceased some time ago. Most of the buildings are listed Grade II.
There has been some tidying up of the buildings since Gordon Hatton's 2007 view http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/372059.

The Anchor Inn, Langthorpe
Parish boundaries become confusing around the riverside at Boroughbridge. This pub is a few yards inside Langthorpe parish, whilst the other side of the road [behind camera] is in Milby parish. Most would just consider this to be part of Boroughbridge.

Kiln, former brewery, Langthorpe
On the north bank of the River Ure. Used to dry malted barley at Warwick's Anchor Brewery. Built about 1850 and Grade 2 listed. The brewery buildings are now all converted to housing. One of this brewery's pubs was the Elephant and Castle on Wakefield's Westgate Image

An aptly named road
Waterside is quite some way from the River Ure on the Langthorpe side, but on the 6th December 2015 the river burst its banks and edged along the B6265 after heavy and continuous rains in the dales.
