Joiners Lane, Wetwang, E Yorks
Short road connecting Main Street with Pulham Lane. The house here is decorated with blue and yellow bunting - an example of the intense cycling fever which had gripped Wetwang in advance of the Tour de Yorkshire race which was to pass through the village the day after this picture was taken.

Bikes in Wetwang
The inhabitants in Wetwang are used to the sound and sight of large numbers of motorbikes passing through their village. The cafe near Fimber Image is a popular gathering point and the fish and chip shop in Wetwang is another. Both are on fine biking routes through the Yorkshire Wolds either from the west to the coast or from the south to Whitby.
