Graveyard at Stillingfleet
There are two graveyards in Stillingfleet; one lies behind the camera position, across a road and around the church. This is the other and has a war memorial which also lists names of war dead from Kelfield.

Church of St Helen, Stillingfleet
North side of the church. The end wall shows evidence of the 13th and/or 15th century rebuilding of the aisle, the original having a much steeper pitch in line with the nave roof. The original Norman west wall of the nave is identified by the remaining section of string course.

Church of St Helen, Stillingfleet
The north doorway. The Corpus of Romanesque Sculpture in Britain and Ireland website notes that this is not an original Norman doorway but constructed from the chancel arch when this was rebuilt in the 16th century. The aisle itself dates from the 13th century, but at least the dogtooth hood-mould may be a re-inclusion from the original north door.

Church of St Helen, Stillingfleet
Chancel south side. This was heavily rebuilt 1875-84 and windows and priest's door date from this time. The string course is original Norman work reincorporated, as is the small niche with the much-worn statue of the Virgin Mary.
