A very handsome 18th century building of brick with stone quoins. No information could be found regarding its history. Now used as offices.

Malton town centre, St Michael's parish church
Through very tight planning regulations, Ryedale District Council must be congratulated (for once!) for allowing the town to stay quaint and old-world yet still progress with the times. Malton is a very nice place to live.

The Shambles, Malton
This Grade II listed thoroughfare with a row of shops on either side dates from the early-mid 19th century and was laid out to link the Market Place with what was then the newly opened cattle market. The shops are thought to have originally been butchers' shops.
