Ebenezer Baptist Church, Columbus Ravine, Scarborough
Many nonconformist churches took the name Ebenezer, which is a Biblical name meaning "rock of help" and that is what this congregation now calls itself.
I have not found a date for the church but it looks c.1910 to me.

Despite the rise of facilities such as AirBnB, Scarborough still has many family-run bed-and-breakfast places. The standards of customer service are generally higher than in the "Fawlty Towers" era.

Scarborough guest houses
These substantial terraced houses on the eastern side of Columbus Ravine, and close to the attractions of Peasholm Park and North Bay, make them ideal for use as guest houses.

Victoria Park Mount
This road has a distant view of Scarborough Castle. On the right streets of late 19th century terrace housing run off at right angles. 1These are known as 'The Avenues'. Less dense early 20th century semi-detached housing on the left.
