Foss Islands retail park
A new [2008] retail park to the east of the city centre. Due to the harsh economic times only two units have so far been occupied, a branch of 'Homebase' and a german kitchen centre. Situated just to the south of Morrisons supermarket.

One of York's less scenic spots
This rather turgid water must be Tang Hall Beck some 300m or so before it meets the River Foss. An untidy corner in what was once an industrial part of the city.
