Empty units at Easter Park, Kidderminster
Several of the units on this fairly recent warehouse type unit development are occupied but currently some are not. The development is opposite the Hoo Farm Industrial Estate, on the other side of the A449 road.

The closed JTF Mega Discount Warehouse, Frederick Road, Hoo Farm Industrial Estate, Kidderminster, Worcs
JTF Mega Discount Warehouse stores were a kind of downmarket equivalent of The Range. Housed in giant shed like buildings, they sold a wide range of items including furniture & garden furniture, toiletries, DIY materials, laundry items, DIY items, gardening items, a small range of food and wine and a very small range of pet food & equipment plus other items. Mainly due to closures during Covid-19 lockdowns, the company went into administration in 2021. It was bought out of administration by a subsidiary of Poundstretcher but the size of the stores & the rents proved too much to be viable. The business was then closed with some departments and staff moving into existing Poundstretcher stores which are much smaller.
The store here in Kidderminster closed finally on the 3rd March 2022.

Corner of a field and bridleway, Spennells, Kidderminster
Behind the hedge is the Kidderminster - Worcester railway line. Behind that are some industrial units which are quite recent. In the foreground is a bridlepath, which forms part of a circular path called Railway Path on the OS map. At the corner the path goes left but the bridleway turns right and runs adjacent to the railway line for some distance.
