Post Office and general store in Penn, Wolverhampton
This useful modern store by the A449 in Penn has changed hands several times recently. Until the 1980s(?) there was a petrol station here.

Blockbuster in Penn, Wolverhampton
I was disgruntled when a useful car park was converted into this business in the early 1990s. Now it is in administration due to the fact that its business plan has not kept up with changes in technology and alternative sourcing of movies in the twenty-first century. Update: The building is now occupied by the very highly regarded White Cross Vets.

Blockbuster in Penn Road, Wolverhampton
I was disgruntled when a useful car park was converted into this business in the early 1990s. Now it is in administration due to the fact that its business plan has not kept up with changes in technology and alternative sourcing of movies in the twenty-first century. The few car parking spaces this side of the wall are for the Co-op store/Post Office, off to the right.

This is opposite the former Fox and Goose public house on the A449 Penn Road. The bus from Wolverhampton Bus Station will visit Penn, Swindon, Wombourne, Wall Heath, Kingswinford, Bromley, Brierley Hill and the Merry Hill shopping centre near Dudley. Image] The bus is a Dennis Trident 2 built in 2004.
