The former GWR mainline taken from near the A41 Bilston Road bridge. The passenger services had ceased in 1972, although the line beyond this point (behind the camera) has been brought back into use as the Midland Metro. The path goes in the distance to Sutherland Avenue, Wolverhampton.

Remaining passenger services had ceased in 1972, although the line beyond this point (behind the camera) has been brought back into use as the Midland Metro, trams gaining access to the trackbed via a curve from the Bilston road out of picture to the left at this point. The bridge in the distance carries Sutherland Avenue.
