Public Footpath, near Four Ashes, Staffordshire
This is how the (cul-de-sac) narrow surfaced lane to Hay farm continues, as a kind of "Green lane". It is also a public footpath. Fields around are almost bereft of gates, and hedges have gaps, so are used to grow cereal crops and grass for mowing, rather the grazing.

Track towards Hay Farm
A former green lane that has got rather overgrown. Wearing shorts, I was anticipating a battle through nettles and brambles. Fortunately the path branches off right a little way in.
