Cann Hall Road in Bridgnorth, Shropshire
This shows the A442 Cann Hall Road which changes to Hospital Street ahead. The road leads towards Kidderminster, and bypasses Bridgnorth High and Low Towns for traffic going to Shrewsbury.

Bridgnorth Rugby Club
The premises of the Rugby Club, a very active social venue in the town. The rugby fields are a few hundred yards away, on the east side of the river, close to the Severn Park.

The former Copper Kettle (1), Mill Street
The Copper Kettle was once a café or tearoom, but is now a private residence. It probably closed long ago, but it seems it was very popular with servicemen posted to the former RAF Bridgnorth in the 1950's, including those doing their National Service there. The name of the café can still faintly be seen on the wall.

The former Copper Kettle (2), Mill Street
This former café or tearoom still has a bracket over the porch, from which no doubt a sign would once have been hung. The building is now a private residence.

The Fox Inn (1), 46 Hospital Street
It describes itself as a traditional pub, but as it provides both food and accommodation, it is similar to a traditional inn. It recently underwent a change of management.

The Fox Inn (2), 46 Hospital Street
One of several pubs in the Low Town area of Bridgnorth. It has been in use as a pub or inn for at least 150 years. It appears in the 1861 census under its present name of The Fox Inn, but the address was at that time known as 34 St. John's Street.
