By Overfield Drive near the A463 Black Country Route. The Elisabeth Arms takes its name from a historic (1954) blast furnace called Elisabeth (Big Lizzy) at the former Bilston Steel Works, nearby. http://www.historywebsite.co.uk/Museum/OtherTrades/SteelWorks/steelworks09.htm
The Sedgemoor Park estate was built in the early 1990s on the site of old coal pits, including Spring Vale Colliery, which closed in 1890.

Overfield Drive in Sedgemoor Park, Wolverhampton
Looking west-south-west along Overfield Drive, which goes round in a wide circle, ending up behind the camera! This private estate is attractively spacious, though "Overfield" is a romantic concept. The estate was built on the former Spring Vale Colliery ... ah! I see ... coalfield! ;-)
