Holly Bank lights
The road junction of the A462 and the B4210, controlled by traffic lights. Unless, of course, you're the driver of the black Audi A3, turning left 50 yards ahead of me, to whom a red light clearly doesn't apply. The lights changed to red more or less as he passed me, and he took not one jot of notice whatsoever. Sadly, I can't pick out the car's registration even on the full-size version of this photo, otherwise I'd be sorely tempted to include it in this text.

'The Ride' is Closed
Originally the upper ride from Hilton Park would have emerged here near Essington. The line was severed by the building of the M6 motorway in the 1960s and more recently by open cast quarrying for coal and clay.
