Wednesfield Park
A quiet corner of the park is now linked to the Wyrley & Essington Canal towpath by Trapmakers Bridge. At £2M this link appears somewhat expensive for the few souls that may use it.

Bentley Court
New care home on the site of the not lamented New Crown pub. (possibly the worst pub I have ever visited).

Nordley Road and Woden Avenue
Crossroads in Wednesfield with a carry out and corner shop (most corner shops seem to have disappeared around here). There was a pub opposite, but it has been replaced by a care home, not a sad loss in this case.

Trapmakers Bridge - Wyrley & Essington Canal
Built on the site of the demolished Barn Bridge. This is an example of how to spend £2M on a very expensive solution where a simple 'off the shelf' footbridge design would have worked just as well. I think that the money would have been better spent on buying a strip of land to link the bridge directly to the High Street instead of onto the towpath.

Exit from park onto Trapmakers Bridge
Although you are only a matter of 50 yards from the shops on the High Street there is no direct access at this point. The bridge crosses over to the far towpath and you need to walk to the next bridge.
