The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company is an American multinational tyre manufacturing company founded in 1898 by Frank Seiberling and based in Akron, Ohio.

It has a co-ordinates panel duplicating the Goodyear Park information obscuring important map details; the coordinates could have been placed below on a white section. The map is not of the park at all, but of the newly built housing estate to the south.

The pond area is divided into three pools, this being part of the third, the main storage and outlet pond. Off to the left are a settlement pond (to filter out sediment), and a second reed pool for cleaning the water. All three are linked and form an attenuation (or balancing) pond system. The scrounging ducks are a bonus ;-)
