Broad Lane bridge north of Bloxwich North station
The two arch bridge carries Broad Lane across the Walsall to Rugeley railway line at the north end of Bloxwich North station, while the later metal construction in front of it is a footbridge. Through the left hand arch, the slightly delayed 1039 to Rugeley Trent Valley, formed of a 2 car class 170 diesel unit, can be seen heading off into the distance.

Bridge demolished & a new bridge to be erected to give clearance for future electrification of Chase Line.Broad Lane temporarily closed to through traffic. Still crossing the railway is a pipe bridge & a temporary footbridge.

Walsall trolleybus at Mossley Estate
BUT 9611T trolleybus 874 (GFU 692) is pictured at Mossley terminus on the last day of trolleybus operation in Walsall, ie 3rd October, 1970. An ex-Birmingham motorbus is seen behind it on route 31.
