Old Milepost by the former A51, St James' Close, Longdon
Cast iron post by the UC road (was A51), in parish of LONGDON (LICHFIELD District), St James' Close, Longdon Village, on the verge, on South West side of road. Lathe iron casting, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century. Inscription reads:- : RUGELEY 3¾ / STAFFORD / 13 : : LONGDON : : LICHFIELD 4 / TAMWORTH 12 / COLESHILL / 19 : Maker:- : Chas. Lathe, Tipton. : Staffordshire HER listed.
