Lichfield Rural Neighbourhood

The countryside around Lichfield is amongst the most attractive in the region and is a popular choice for families looking to live the rural life.

The area is dotted with picturesque villages, delightful country churches and some of the best country pubs in Britain.

One surprise village is Armitage, a name known throughout the world thanks to the Armitage Shanks factory which produces high quality bathroom suites for export.

The area is popular with walkers and boaters thanks to the Trent and Mersey canal which threads its way through the heart of the area. The village of Handsacre is a popular choice for young families.
