This industrial estate is being developed on the site of the former Lea Hall Colliery. The road will shortly be linked to the remainder of the Rugeley by-pass which is under construction.

Business park development near Rugeley, Staffordshire
The backdrop to this view from the Trent and Mersey Canal is the group of four cooling towers of Rugeley B Power Station. Power generation was stopped in 2016. Update: The cooling towers were demolished on 6 June 2021. Other infrastructure was demolished earlier, including the chimney on 24th January 2021.
