Founded in 1842, Staffordshire Police covers an area of over 1,000 square miles. The county has a population of more than a million with a rich diversity of communities, all with specific policing needs.

Brereton Ravenhill and Hagley Neighbourhood
A residential area comprising a mixture of housing, it has two primary schools, a park and two successful local football teams - Brereton Town and Brereton Social. The area was once home to Lea Hall Colliery and has undergone significant regeneration.
It also houses Rugeley Power Station which provides power to a large proportion of the Midlands. Hagley is mainly a residential area with easy access to the town and Cannock Chase. The area has a mixture of housing - mostly private dwellings with some rented and council properties. There are two primary schools and a high school - Hagley Park Sports College
