Birchbrook Industrial Park
Seen across a field and the Footherley Brook from the railway line south of Shenstone station. The pylon is in a field about half a kilometre beyond the buildings shown.

Shenstone Station
Shenstone station was opened in 1884 when the London and North Western Railway extended their line from Birmingham to Sutton Coldfield and northwards to Lichfield.
There are trains every 30 minutes in each direction, all day, every day. Typically, these operate between Longbridge and Lichfield City on Mondays to Saturdays, and between Redditch and Lichfield Trent Valley on Sundays. On Saturdays, there is an enhanced service, with trains every 10-20 minutes.

Shenstone Pumping Station
Yet another South Staffordshire Water Works Company pumping station. Was once steam and has a truncated chimney. The diesel engine radiator in the main doorway (that big white rectangle) is most unsympathetic. The steam engines were installed in 1892 and 1893 (according to a company list) and were Hathorn, Davey horizontal tandem compound, rotative, surface condensing pumping engines. They were removed in 1957.
