Public footpath sign by the A4133 road
This sign indicates the start of a public footpath. It also forms part of the Wychavon Way, a long distance route. It should be mentioned that the OS Get-a-Map facility on this site, and the OS Explorer Map (sheet 204), clearly indicate the footpath starts in this square, so I have placed it here and not in SO 8462.

The cricket ground Ombersley
This village has it all , church excellent pubs , local shops and this beautiful cricket ground making good use of the space between the bypass and the old road . The visitors are all out for 146 at tea and the home side are pretty confident of getting the runs on a good wicket in quick time.
