Old Milestone by the B4209, near Chance Flowers, Hanley Castle
Metal plate attached to stone post by the B4209, in parish of HANLEY CASTLE (MALVERN HILLS District), Hanley Castle, low in hedge next to telegraph pole, North side of road. Erected by the Upton-upon-Severn turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- HANLEY UPTON 2 MALVERN 6 MILES Milestone Society National ID: WO_MVUS06.

Meadow north of Holloway Farm
A fairly bland meadow with a few weeds, but not a rich mixture of flowers. Possibly planted to produce a monoculture grass field for silage. The trees indicate the route of the Pool Brook.

Farm Bridge over Pool Brook
This beautiful simple arch bridge is only one 9" brick in thickness. The poolbrook flows from The Chase School in Malvern to the river Severn near to Upton.

A lovely flower rich meadow which would make excellent hay.

Footpath through the rape
The path is clearly defined, but the rape is so tall and bushy that it looks, at first, to be impassable. Got soaked by leading the way through the field. The rape has mostly flowered and the oil producing seed pods are forming.
