New buildings by the River Severn in Worcester
This is the riverside at South Parade. The tower is that of the evangelical Anglican All Saints' Church. It is a Georgian rebuilding (1742-1745) of an earlier church, much "restored" in 1869, and the tower again by 1995.

Former riverside warehouses in Worcester
Seen by looking east from Worcester Bridge. The hop and seed warehouse has been converted to apartments. The spire is that of St Andrew's Church, which was demolished in 1947. The mediaeval tower, with its elegant spire of 1751, was preserved.

The old riverside warehouses on South Parade
The River Severn has burst its banks allowing the old riverside warehouses to again be next to the water.
Since the development of South Parade the buildings became set back from the riverside.
The swans very much enjoy paddling about in the shallows.

Converted riverside warehouses in Worcester
This former mid 19th century hop and seed warehouse by the River Severn is now used as apartments. Adjacent to it is a restaurant (with apartments above?), and another conversion. The restaurant was closed following floods in February 2014, then reopened six months later with new owners.

Brown's Wine Bar - too much water with it!
This used to be one of Worcester's best restaurants before the financial climate saw it off. It is now a pleasant wine and tapas bar that I have been known to frequent when dry (the venue I mean).
