Apse, St Aidan's, Billinge
In 1908 the church (dating from 1717) was extended. The apse of the original church was dismantled, and re-erected (right) at the east end of a new transept (centre).

St Aidan's Church - Billinge
Built in 1718. Its thought that the current church is on the site of an older chapel dating back to 1539. Graves dating back to 1720 can still be found in the church yard (see additional pics).
