A series taken from the top deck of a bus. As can be seen from this view inside the bus station, most local buses are now single-deckers, but fortunately this Bolton-bound one was not. As it was a sunny day, and the pics were taken through the windows, reflections occasionally intrude.

Queen's Hall Methodist Mission
The Queen's Hall opened on 1st April 1908 as the permanent home of the Wigan Wesleyan Mission. The 1984 Mission Anniversary was the last occasion on which the Main Hall was used as a place of worship. In attendance was a congregation of 600. A new bus station was to be built behind the church, incorporating land then occupied by the church, The Mission was to be redeveloped with only the front façade being retained. On June 17th 1984 St.George's C.E. Church welcomed the congregation to services there. In May 1987 they returned to the Queen's Hall. Information from the Church website: https://www.queenshallwigan.com/church-history
