The Old Turk, Wellington Road West, Dewsbury
Only the footway of Wellington Road West is left, due to the approach ramp for the bridge carrying Ashworth Road over the ring road. I hadn't noticed the 'Mind' charity shop before, nor the faded advertisement on the brick gable-end to the right.

Dated 1872 with initials JW. The architect was happily playing with different window styles for each floor.

Office building, Wellington Street, Dewsbury
Dated 1873 with initials JM. The strange feature of this building is the build-up at the top of the corner. This almost hides a chimney.
