Native American figure in Soothill
The figure, with a bird of prey headdress, stands between the garage and the sandwich shop at the 'Babes in the Wood' crossroads. What it has to do with either, I don't know, but it catches the eye amongst the advertising signs.

Old Milestone by the A653, Leeds Road, Batley and Liversedge parish
Carved stone post by the A653, in parish of BATLEY AND LIVERSEDGE (KIRKLEES District), Leeds Road, junction with the B6124 Soothill Lane, at corner of Babes in the Wood PH, on West side of road. Erected by an unknown authority in the 18th/19th century.
