Called Half Acre, presumably after the size of the site.

Foxroyd Lane, Thornhill
This is where Foxroyd Lane splits; the old lane goes to the right, but the junction with Whitley Road has been blocked, probably due to poor sight-lines. The new Foxroyd Lane goes to the left and then turns right to a better junction.
