Radlett: Flint Cottages
Prior to the Midland Railway arriving in Radlett and building the station in the 1860s, the settlement was nothing more than a few buildings serving the local estates of the landed gentry. These fine flint and brick cottages date from 1852 and so pre-date the railway. They were built by the Phillimore family, presumably to house estate workers. Now they are used by several small commercial concerns, one of which just happens to be a photographer's studio. So, Click Studios, here's your free publicity http://www.theclickstudios.co.uk/ The family portrait will do very nicely, thank you!
