Cute sign for Flying Pig Helicopters
By the main entrance to Elstree Aerodrome. The registration G-PIGS is wishful thinking - it is already allocated to a light aircraft probably to be found at Wombleton Airfield, Yorkshire.

Getting a Wash
G-MALS, a Mooney M.20K, gets her wings washed at Elstree Aerodrome. The Mooney's are renowned as high performance general aviation aircraft. This particular version marketed as the Mooney 231 has a 210hp turbocharged engine. The performance is enhanced by a very smooth airframe.
