G-MALS, a Mooney M.20K, gets her wings washed at Elstree Aerodrome. The Mooney's are renowned as high performance general aviation aircraft. This particular version marketed as the Mooney 231 has a 210hp turbocharged engine. The performance is enhanced by a very smooth airframe.
