Grand Union Canal: Bridge Road bridge at Hunton Bridge
The owners of Image seek the custom of the users of the canal by means of their black and gold sign on the bridge. The turquoise sign is one for a London Anglers' Association private fishery.

Originally opened here around 1798 as the Grand Junction Canal it was absorbed into the new Grand Union Canal in 1929. This is the view looking upstream from Bridge Road.

Hunton Bridge: Dog and Partridge
The pub, which is on Old Mill Road, has a For Sale board underneath the eaves. Update January 2010 The "mystery shopper" is pleased to relate that the For Sale board has gone, the landlord and landlady were most welcoming, and a fine pint of Buntingford Brewery's Royston Red 4.8% was enjoyed by all!

Hunton Bridge: The Kings Lodge
The building dates from 1642 and was used as a hunting lodge by King Charles I. The building also reputedly has two secret passages, one to enable King Charles II to conduct his tryst with Nell Gwyn and the other to enable an unseen escape. Today the building is a restaurant known as the Hunters.
