Land of Peace and Plenty Public House, Heronsgate, Hertfordshire
Public house with unusual name on the edge of Chorleywood. Although on the edge of a town when approaching from the south-east it gives the illusion of being in the heart of the countryside.

Stag Lane, The Swillett
This was an old country lane that couldn't be widened as Chorleywood expanded to absorb the surrounding hamlets. The pub is at the end of the line of sight.
