Austerson Old Hall
Austerson Old Hall from the Sandstone Trail, Alvanley. This timber framed hall, a Grade II* listed building, was brought from Old Hall Austerson, a hamlet near Nantwich, and reassembled here between 1974 and 1986 by Jim Brotherhood, a local architect! Austerson Old Hall
What is unusual about this 15th century building is that it has not always stood here. Between 1974 and 1986 it was moved bit by bit from Coole Pilate near Nantwich some 27 miles away and reconstructed on this site.
