Bridge Street, Golborne
The approach to Golborne via the A573 from the East Lancs Road carries the name of Bridge Street. Having passed along the road hundreds of times I was unaware of why it was so called, as there is no really obvious bridge in sight. I stopped to take a pic of an unusual terrace of three-storey houses - and finally saw the bridge, and the brook it crosses.

Millingford Brook, south of Bridge Street, Golborne
There's a definite smell to the brook, and the water looks murky - thankfully most watercourses in this area have been significantly cleaned up in recent years - but not this one, yet.
