Rams Head
The former Rams Head public house at the corner of Church Road and Kenyon's Lane South, Haydock. Terracotta lettering on the side proclaims that it was "Rebuilt 1896".

The Homestead in Haydock
The founder of the great colliery system in Haydock who designed and built the locomotives and developed a once extensive mining and engineering industry lived in this house. His famous workshop was demolished to make way for the shopping centre in the middle of Haydock
