A notorious strip or lap dancing club, before that it was The Royal Oak where it was a gay bar and drag club, Glenthorne Road, Hammersmith, W6.

The former Eagle Arms, 82-84 Glenthorne Road
This public house closed in 1999, and was derelict for several years. In 2006 the building was sold as office space, with an apartment on the first floor. It is not clear from the outside whether it is actually occupied at present. Surprisingly the pub sign still hangs outside. The faded and rather unpleasant paint colour of the exterior does not date from its days as a pub, when it was painted a dark red. A picture of how it looked, with more information, can be found in a set of pictures on Flickr called Last Orders. Image
