View eastward (taken from an Up local Diesel multiple-unit) at Longfield Avenue Box (between Ealing Broadway and West Ealing) towards London on the ex-GW main line to Reading etc. The 18.35 Paddington - Cheltenham St James' is headed by Hawksworth 'Modified Hall' 4-6-0 No. 6963 'Throwley Hall' (built 4/44, named 1/47, withdrawn 7/65).
