Acton Green: St Alban's Church
The foundation stone was laid in 1887 and the church completed in 1888. However by 1997 falling congregation numbers forced the Diocese of London to close it, and after a brief period of use by other religious organizations up to 2006, it has since laid empty. There are currently plans to convert it into flats.

St Alban's Church
Prominently sited on the edge of Acton Green and surrounded on the green side by the buildings of a pre school. The church was designed by Edward Monson, a local architect, and built 1887-88. It is redundant and awaiting a new use.
