Chiswick Park Underground station, Greater London
Opened in 1879 as "Acton Green" by the Metropolitan District Railway on the line from Central London via Turnham Green to Ealing Broadway, it was renamed "Chiswick Park & Acton Green" in 1887 and received its current name in 1910. The station was rebuilt in its current form in 1932 and is served by District and Piccadilly line trains. View east towards Turnham Green and central London. Like 55% of the London Underground network, this part is actually overground.

This is the eastbound District Line platform looking west. Only District Line trains call at this station; the more frequent Piccadilly Line trains pass through it on the tracks in the middle. Rebuilt in 1932, Chiswick Park is a bleak-looking station whose impressive tower nevertheless makes it stand out.
