Along the Towpath at Chiswick, London
University Boat Race day; with the crews of Oxford and Cambridge expected, along the River Thames, shortly. With the 2010 General Election date about to be announced, workers for one of the local candidates* make the most of the opportunity. They briskly march along the towpath at Chiswick, handing out blue balloons. They had some success, but many had hands full with cameras, binoculars, or wine glasses.
* Mary Macleod, the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Chiswick, Brentford, Isleworth, Syon, Osterley and Hounslow.
