Turnham Green is characterised by commercial enterprises that reflect a cosmopolitan society. All sorts of foods from different cultures are easily available in this area. This shop is situated in the street leading off the A205 to the tube station north of it.

Another typical pastime of many British people. Betting shops are frequently found in many towns and cities. This one is situated in the road leading off the A205 to Turnham Green Tube station, north of it.

Turnham Green Park
This small area of park is situated alongside the rails of the tube system and provides a welcome seat or two for workers wanting to eat out at lunch time (it seems they left a few crumbs behind). It can be found in the north western section of the grid square. The picture was taken looking south west, thus the residential area is just visible between the trees.
